The Conference Server unifi es voice communications between the PSTN, isolated SIP islands and commercial IP gateway services provided by Internet Telephone Service Providers (ITSP). One Conference Server can be shared across multiple global workgroups. The unifying value of the Conference Server accelerates the adoption-cycle of SIP voice communications allowing disparate installations to conveniently interconnect in a QuadroCS conference.
Unifying Voice Communications
It no longer matters that different people have different set ups. Everyone can reach the QuadroCS. Also, with its outbound calling capability the QuadroCS can dial out to anyone using a combination of IP calls or PSTN calls through an ITSP or Quadro SIP router.
The QuadroCS has 3 levels of administration and access with appropriate privileges depending on the type of user: Network Administrator, Conference Moderator or Conference Participant.
Using the QuadroCS is easy. A simple GUI as well as special commands availale from the telephone user interface moderate the conference. The user experience goes far beyond a simple conference bridge.
The Conference Server works with all existing Epygi Technologies products including the ?All In One Box? Quadro2x, 4x or 16x solution and the E1/T1 gateway. Incorporating a QuadroE1/T1 allows the QuadroCS to be used in conjunction with existing PBX systems.
